Q: What is the difference between Elevate® W.S., Elevate® Maintenance Powder and Elevate® Se?
A: This handy table makes it easy to choose the right Elevate for your horse:
- Contains a highly available water-soluble natural vitamin E.
- Fast-acting: begins to raise levels in 72 hours.
- Must be fed immediately upon removal from the bottle. We recommend using a small oral syringe.
- Protect from freezing and extreme heat.
Recommended For
Horses with acute neurological disease, muscular disorders or severe deficiencies that need vitamin E levels raised quickly.
- Contains a very stable natural vitamin E powder.
- Slower acting: works over several weeks.
- Can be added to a meal at time of feeding or in advance of feeding.
- Stable in a wide range of temperatures— just don’t leave it in a hot car or trailer.
Recommended For
Use as a follow-up to Elevate W.S. to support healthy systems or when daily vitamin E requirements need to be met.

Q: Do I need to add oil or extra fat to my horse’s diet when I supplement with Elevate?
A: No, the normal equine diet contains enough fat to facilitate the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins like natural vitamin E.
Q: My horse is allergic to soy; can he be supplemented with Elevate?
A: Yes, while natural vitamin E is derived from soy oil, once extracted it is pure vitamin E and contains none of the elements that cause soy allergies.
Q: My horse has metabolic syndrome; can I supplement with Elevate?

Q: Can Elevate be added to wet or soaked feed?
A: Yes. However, Elevate Maintenance Powder and Elevate Se should only be added to a mash or wet feed at time of feeding. It should not be soaked with the feed.

A: Requirements vary from horse to horse depending on age, job, health status and diet. We are happy to review your horse’s diet and make recommendations.
