Cold Weather Storage Tips for Your Supplements

Extremely cold weather can rob your supplements of nutrients or alter their form enough to decrease effectiveness once thawed. Supplements that are in the form of a pellet or powder usually do fine in freezing temperatures, as long as they are kept dry in tightly sealed containers. Liquids and pastes need to be protected from freezing. Be sure to check your supplement’s label or the manufacturer’s website for specific storage instructions.
